Rough Running

From time to time all of us have heard of strange ways to fix the 'A'. This fits into that category.

Here's another use for that wonderful Marvel Mystery Oil. If your Model A has suddenly started running rough and you have failed to find the likely cause then take a look inside your distributor.

Inside your distributor pull the rotor and very lightly oil the pivot post where the points arm pivots. It has been discovered that sometimes the post on the distributor plate can cause the arm to stick. Also it is a good idea to oil the distributor shaft before every tour to make sure no howling under the hood makes you think it is the water pump.
